Peter Flewellyn
Growing up in a vineyard in the Riverland, Peter graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1993 with a degree in wine studies. A 24-year career has seen Peter working across all aspects of winemaking and wine sales in Europe, South Africa and South America.

Peter grew up in a vineyard family in the Riverland wine region in South Australia, and he spent a lot of time in the vineyards on weekends and holidays. Later he attended Roseworthy Agricultural College in Adelaide just like the first three generations in his family, and he started his career in wine making as well.
During his studies, he worked in the Berri Estates, the largest winery in the southern hemisphere, where he learned efficient ways of working for large wineries.
After graduated in 1992, he seized an opportunity to join a wine investment team based in Moldova with Penfold and Hugh Ryman. Peter then returned to Barossa and worked for Blackwell at St Halletts in Tanunda after a challenging winemaking project was done.
During the time as a "Flying Winemaker," he worked on winemaking and production in many different parts of the world, including Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, Provence, Corsica, Languedoc Rousillon in France, Conca de Barbera, Rueda, Carignana, Penedes in Spain, Argentina, Mendoza, South Africa, Stellenbosch, and Oilfants River.
Peter gained an extremely rich experience and expertise in the production of wine making, grape harvesting He eventually designed, operated and developed the Pettavel winery after returned to Australia in 2000 (Peter helped the Fitzpatrick family to set up the Pettavel Winery). Since Peter became our winemaker, he got involved in designing and constructing of this fantastic wine using the latest technology balance with Australia’s traditional style wine making.
In 2001, Peter owned his first vintage which is still operating today. He has formed a small but professional team that focuses on developing high-quality wines for people who also understand the true value of great wines.

John Adamopoulos
The ancestors of John Adamopoulos are outstanding winemakers from southern Greece. Wine has already flown in their blood. This traditional winemaking process is now continuing in South Australia.

As the first generation of Australian immigrants in 1956, John's father has professional grape growing techniques. He came to Australia and soon selected the McLaren Vale to open their family's new winemaking business in Australia. John learned from his father, and began to involve in the family's traditional winemaking processes since he was young. Even when he was engaged in engineering at a young age, the enthusiasm for wine growing and winemaking has never been gone.
In 2008, John decided to start his own wine brand - ShowBlock. The Vineyard covers 46 hectares and is located in prime locations in the famous South Australian wine regions -McLaren Vale and Money Creek.
